Newham

The Newham Carnival is a vibrant display of colourful costumes, dance and music created by schools and community groups throughout the east London borough. Each year sees around 2,500 participants with thousands more lining the streets cheering them on.

Redbridge

Hainault Forest in Redbridge is an area of 336 acres, earmarked a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The view from the lake is by far the most stunning and is close to the Hainault Forest Gold Club and Fox Burrow Farm, used for preserving rare breeds of animals.

Havering

Formerly part of the estate of Havering Palace, the Havering Country Park is a conservation area and is home to one of just two plantations of Wellingtonia trees in the country.
